Curtis Thaxter attorneys have been active in the public policy arena since the firm’s founding. We serve both as legislative advocate and as regulatory counsel.
In the administrative realm, we have broad experience in insurance, health, children’s camping, energy and environmental compliance as these issues have grown in importance. In the legislative realm, the firm and its communications affiliate, the Public Affairs Group, maintain an office in the state capital of Augusta. Together, we provide both strategic issues management advice and government relations services for a broad range of clients. The firm is also active in two international organizations with strong government relations capabilities: the State Capital Group and the Advocacy Group.
